Expanding horizons: United welcomes three Calgary communities to its family

Calgary, Alberta – December 11, 2024 – United Active Living (“United”), a best-in-class owner-operator of older adult communities, is pleased to announce the acquisition of three seniors’ housing properties in Calgary, expanding its portfolio in the city to five communities.

The newly acquired assets, totaling 544 units, represent a key milestone in the company’s strategic growth plan to expand its footprint and service offerings.

The Calgary-based portfolio includes a mix of independent and assisted living, with United assuming both ownership and management of the properties.

With this acquisition, United now owns and operates 862 senior housing units in Calgary, with plans to continue its growth across Western Canada.
